955 STEERING CLUTCHES

941 951 955 STEERING CLUTCHES

The 941 Traxcavators of the model numbers 75H, 70H 1 thru 2237, and 80H 1 thru 3039 were all dry clutch machines and used the same bimetallic discs and steel separator plates as the D4D's and 955's made at the same time.

The 951 Traxcavators of the model numbers 89A, 92A, 72J, and 78J also used the same discs and separator plates as the dry clutch machines made during this time.

The 955 Traxcavators (Track Loaders) beginning with the 12A model and including the 26A, 45A, and 60A Serial number 1 through 3625 had steering clutches designed after the dozers of the same vintage.  They used the 3F5504 bimetallic discs and the 2H6936 steel separator plates.  These were all dry steering clutches, not running in oil.
